Sola Fide, Sola Gratia, Sola Scriptura

We Believe, Teach, and Confess:
— Jesus is our true Lord and crucified and risen Savior. His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave is our sole hope for eternal life and our real peace until Heaven.
— in One true God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
— as Christians, we are justified by grace alone and by faith alone on account of Christ alone—not of works. This is clearly taught in the Holy Bible—God’s inspired, inerrant Word, and the sole basis of our teaching and practice.
— in the Gospel (the Good News) as the sole basis for our hope for eternal life. Christ, true man and true God, bore our sins on the cross, fulfilled the law in our stead, and overcame death in his bodily resurrection.
— the Sacraments: the Word, the Lord’s Supper, and Baptism are the means of grace used by the Holy Spirit to both give us and nurture us in our faith.
